Established in 1997, The American Friends of the Yitzhak Rabin Center is a registered 501©3 non-profit organization in the U.S. By Knesset decree, operational costs of the Yitzhak Rabin Center are in-part funded by the State of Israel; however, the construction of the Center and funding of its activities requires private financing. The American Friends was established with the objective of supporting the building and activities of the Center. The organization consists of an Advisory and a Governing Board, comprised of key figures in both the Jewish community and American political arena.
